Stegmeier Consulting Group's research findings have revealed that one of the weakest links in introducing a new workplace strategy and flex work policies to enable a more agile workforce lies in the lack of preparedness of individual contributors--and the business leaders to whom they report.

    4. Lastly, when employment levels of businesses shrink in response to weak economic conditions, more work is done with fewer people. Sound decision-making needs to be pushed to every level of the enterprise.
